Women’s Voices is an hour-long program celebrating diverse women writers in America, from Anne Bradstreet through Shirley Jackson,  Maya Angelou and Nora Ephron produced by the Seat of Our Pants Readers Theatre Troupe.

It’s a miscellany of brief historical and biographical notes,  with selections from writers including essays, poems, dramatized sketches,  short stories, e.g. Kate Chopin’s Story of an Hour, and inspiring quotations from women about writing. Informative, amusing, and eclectic, it has wide appeal with audiences of all ages.

Performed by Maggie Marks and L. Mark Flagg, Women's Voices is a way to bring meaningful live theatre to your community site safely. Email Kirk Thomsen for more details at kirk@53212presents.org.

Seat of Our Pants presents stages "readers theatre" enhanced with lighting, sound, live music, and movement. We also provide simpler dramatic readings for Independent Living Centers, schools, cafes, and restaurants. Stories, poetry, one-act plays, and theme-related quotations and anecdotes are the substance of our programs. Like us on facebook here.
